[Tutorial] – Colour alteration = singularity

2016-11-18-22_11_34-matthew-brandt-_-books-and-projects-_-j-paul-getty-museum-_-still-from-video-8This is just a short preview for a new technique I’ve developed from digitally experimenting with pictures from my 2. shoot, inspired by  Matthew Brandt. The technique is supposed to replicate the organic pattern and colours from chemically treated photographs.

Here is a Youtube video demonstrating my rather simple attempt. However, I seriously recommend getting a touch pad, as using a mouse makes it notoriously difficult to create organic natural shapes.

Wacom makes a few reasonably priced tablets and I would absolutely recommend all of their models,  especially if you’re on a budget. For photography you really only need a small surface for tweaking, so don’t empty your wallets on the bigger models unless you do drawing/sketching/illustration.
